Project Description

GunPolicy.org works mainly in the area of gun violence research and dissemination of information. Unlike Americans Against Gun Violence, it does not engage in legislative advocacy or grass roots organizing in order to change gun policies.

Due to lack of funding, GunPolicy.org stopped updating its website after 2015. Americans Against Gun Violence is actively working to raise money to continue to the collection of data comparing rates of guns violence, rates of gun ownership, and firearm regulations in the United States and other high income democratic countries. Contributions to support this work can be made via the Join/Donate page of the Americans Against Gun Violence website.
